The supramolecular complex of our Seed Coating contains phytohormones (auxins giberrelins etc.) vitamins, amino acids, organic acids and other substances necessary for plant growth.
An example of the effect of Biotensidon’s Rhamnolipid Seed Coating on melon seeds can be seen in Figure 1 and Figure 2, which demonstrate that the growth is increased by more than 50%.
Biotensidon’s Rhamnolipids causes inhibition of zoospore forming plant pathogens that have acquired resistance to commercial chemical pesticides.
Another advantage is that, rhamnolipids can stimulate plant immunity, which serve as an alternative remedy to reduce the infection of plant pathogens.
The properties of Biotensidon’s Rhamnolipids significantly contribute to reducing the use of chemical substances in agricultural activities.
The use of Rhamnolipids as an adjuvant, boosts the efficiency of herbicides, hence the increased efficiency.
When added to fertilizers, they will break down surface tension, allowing more nutrients to be absorbed by the plant.
This generates a boosting effect, which leads to an increase in growth and yield.
Technically, they work by a mechanism of changing the root surface hydrophobicity and improve the bioavailability of nutrients. In addition, Rhamnolipids affect the activity of the soil microorganisms, bacterial mobility, root colonization and biofilm formation.
